Travtec

Eccleston Engineering has a long standing relationship with Travtec, a recognized leader in the provision of automated of labelling and packaging machines, to fabricate a stainless steel machine frame on which they could construct special purpose equipment.

We were asked to construct the frame to the drawing provided and, as this particular machine was destined for the pharmaceutical industry, the selection of materials and engineering tolerances were critical.

This particular frame is now part of a process line which carries three print heads and associated checking camera technology. The machine has the ability to apply the label, check the quality of the application and approve or reject the process, all in a split second.

Eccleston Engineering worked closely with Travtec to ensure all performance requirements were conveyed in order that the fabrication could be delivered on-time and on-budget.
