Eccleston Engineering was asked to consider how best to realise a screening concept devised by a leading architectural practice specialising in interior design.

The desired steel fins were laser cut and welded to slender round bars. The best method of welding and dressing down was selected in order to ensure the steel components did not distort.

Once fabricated, the items were primed with a zinc rich layer before being polyester powder coated. This finish ensured a robust and hard wearing surface which perfectly matched the surroundings.

In addition to the main feature screen, Eccleston Engineering provided modified fixings which allowed the installation to be made seamlessly, without making the fixing locations apparent.

Eccleston Engineering worked closely with the customer to ensure all performance requirements were considered in order that the fabrication could be delivered on-time and on-budget.
