Eccleston Engineering was engaged by Acrefield Developments, a recognised leader in the Geo-Environmental sector, to realise their design solution for a secondary environmental containment proprietary system.

Where aggressive substances are stored and there is a risk to the environment if the storage tank (primary containment) is breached, it is good practice to contain the substance so that it can be reclaimed prior to any environmental detriment.

Acrefield Developments provided a design which integrated the structural integrity of steel with the environmental containment of plastic.

Eccleston Engineering was engaged to fabricate the steel components required in the system and offer advice on value engineering.

Eccleston Engineering worked closely with the system designers to provide components which offered the best value given the high performance requirements.

Throughout the duration of the project we considered the requirement to deliver this commercially sensitive scheme safely, reliably and to the highest standard.
